  • Postdoctoral Associate

I enjoy distance running, learning new music, playing video games, and spending time with my cat, Mudkip.

    Education & Training

  • B.S. in Biology from SUNY Geneseo, minor in economics
  • PhD in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Research Interests

My research interests include dissecting the interplay between the circadian clock and substance use disorder. I’m interested in the bidirectional relationship between substance use and the transcription-translation molecular mechanism that regulates the circadian clock. This expands on my doctoral work where I focused on structurally characterizing the repressive arm of the circadian clock in Neurospora crassa.
